We performed a series of experiments in millet plants to explore the roles of drought severity, drought localization, and root development in provoking Actinobacteria enrichment. Included from these experiments are a set of 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing data (300bp PE V3-V4 region) from root systems, single roots, root subsections, rhizosphere, and soil.
