Illumina-based DNA sequencing of isolates of Macrophomina phaseolina that are pathogenic and not pathogenic on strawberry. Macrophomina phaseolina is a fungus that causes rot on a wide range of plants, but some isolates may exhibit host specificity for strabwerry. The goal of sequencing these isolates was to use them for a comparative genomics study focused on examining the pathogenicity of Macrophomina phaseolina on strawberry.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA484400 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
