Draft genome sequencing of multiple isolates of Macrophomina phaseolina

dataset
posted on 2024-09-29, 05:50 authored by USDA
Illumina-based DNA sequencing of isolates of Macrophomina phaseolina that are pathogenic and not pathogenic on strawberry. Macrophomina phaseolina is a fungus that causes rot on a wide range of plants, but some isolates may exhibit host specificity for strabwerry. The goal of sequencing these isolates was to use them for a comparative genomics study focused on examining the pathogenicity of Macrophomina phaseolina on strawberry.
