Development of race specific SSRs in Sorghum bicolor
dataset

The goal of this project was to develop SSRs specific to each race in Sorghum bicolor including the guinea working group margaritiferum. SSRs were identified in silico from previously published whole genome resequencing data. The data presented here is the validation of the SSR location in 53 sorghum individuals through targeted paired end 150 base pair Illumina sequencing. Sequencing was performed on an Illumina NextSeq 550. Each sample name contains the PI number of the sorghum accession used for the sequencing.
