Denitrobactrium detoxificans is a gram-positive rumen bacteria, in the phylum Actinobacteria, class actinobacteria, order coriobacteriales, family coriobacteriaceae. It was investigate because of its unique ability to respire nitrocompounds as such genomic analysis will contribute substantially to the development of measures for mitigating their toxic effects.
