Data for: "Pseudomonadaceae increased the tolerance of Listeria monocytogenes to sanitizers in multi-species biofilms" (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.fm.2024.104687). This study investigated tolerance to peroxyacetic acid and benzalkonium chloride of Listeria monocytogenes in mono- and multi-species biofilms. The data include minimum inhibitory concentrations for peroxyacetic acid and a biofilm remover, anti-biofilm activity of the biofilm remover, reduction in aerobic mesophilic microorganisms and Listeria monocytogenes in biofilms due to treatment with the biofilm remover, and tolerance to 200 ppm benzalkonium chloride, 250 ppm peroxyacetic acid, and 500 ppm peroxyacetic acid. Single- and multi-family assemblages are labeled as follows: F, Flavobacteriaceae; L, L. monocytogenes; M, Microbacteriaceae; P, Pseudomonadaceae; X, Xanthomonadaceae.
