<p dir="ltr">Data for "Multi-species biofilms of environmental microbiota isolated from fruit packing facilities promoted tolerance of <i>Listeria monocytogenes</i> to benzalkonium chloride" (<a href="https://doi.org/10.1016/j.bioflm.2024.100177" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">https://doi.org/10.1016/j.bioflm.2024.100177</a>). This study generated the following data: minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) for benzalkonium chloride, tolerance of Listeria monocytogenes to benzalkonium chloride in single and multi-family biofilms, confocal laser scanning microscope (CLSM) imaging data (biomass, roughness), microbiota composition in biofilms at the experimental end point (ASVs), biofilm formation data. The following labels are used for different microbial families: F, <i>Flavobacteriaceae</i>; L, <i>L. monocytogenes</i>; M, <i>Microbacteriaceae</i>; P, <i>Pseudomonadaceae</i>; X, <i>Xanthomonadaceae</i>.</p>
