Field data from 10 experiments conducted at 4 sites in 2 years in Virginia's three regions (Eastern, Central, and Northern), to evaluate corn yield-limiting factors under the standard, intensive, and adaptive management strategies. The standard management practices included management prescriptions based on the grower, and cooperative extension recommendations (standard rates of nutrients based on yield goal involving part of nutrients at planting and a single-side-dress, as control. Small plots of 12ft by 27 (L X W) were managed for full season sampling and harvesting for yield data, which were then converted to yield per hectare recorded in Kg/ha.
