The Catálogo Taxonômico da Fauna do Brasil (Taxonomic Catalog of the Fauna of Brazil) is the result of the effort by more than 500 zoologists to document all animal species that inhabit the Brazilian territory. The database on the subfamily Cryptocephalinae is authored by world experts of this taxon and lists 734 species. http://fauna.jbrj.gov.br/fauna/faunadobrasil/118309
