Cotton resistance response to reniform nematode infection

dataset
posted on 2025-03-07, 02:55 authored by USDA-ARS
The reniform nematode (Rotylenchulus reniformis) is an important pathogen of Upland cotton (Gossypium hirsutum). Currently deployed resistance to RN is derived from the G. barbadense wild accession GB713 resistance QTL on chromosome 21 named Renbarb2. This study aims to determine the resistance signaling events that underpin Renbarb2-mediated resistance to RN.
