These sequences are prokaryotic (16S) amplicons from corn plants (roots and leaves) from an experiment which assessed the role of fungicides and agricultural management on the microbiome. Samples were amplified with 515F and 806R primers. Samples were taken in 2017 at Michigan State's Kellogg Biological Station LTER.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA739465 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
