The genomes of Edwardsiella ictaluri isolates were sequenced and assembled using a hybrid short and long-read approach. This pathogen causes enteric septicemia of catfish and can be devastating to farms. The goal of this study was to complete the genomes of multiple isolates, including any plasmid genomes, to further comparative studies into the pathogenicity and virulence of this bacteria.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA1220665 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
