Xylella fastidiosa is a xylem-limited plant pathogen that causes disease on numerous agricultural and ornamental hosts, in addition to colonizing hosts asymptomatically. X. fastidiosa subsp. multiplex has been detected in olive (Olea europaea) trees grown in California as well as in Europe. Strains of X. fastidiosa subsp. multiplex isolated from California olive trees are not known to cause disease on olive, although some can induce leaf-scorch symptoms on almond (Prunis dulcis). No genome assemblies currently exist for subsp. multiplex strains isolated from olive; therefore, we generated complete genome sequences for three X. fastidiosa subsp. multiplex strains, LM10, RH1, and Fillmore, isolated from olive trees grown in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA627683 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
