Comparison of next-generation sequencing methods for catfish bacterial microbiota profiling

Compared 3 different 16S rRNA sequencing protocols (two nanopore sequencing protocols targeting full length 16S rRNA gene and Illumina MiSeq on V4 region) for bacterial community profiling in a mock community, hybrid catfish samples (digesta, gill swab, skin swab) and water samples (pond water and holding tank).
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA833472 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
