Chromatin accessibility analysis in bovine gamma delta T cells following BCG immunization

dataset
posted on 2024-09-29, 07:18 authored by Iowa State University
BCG vaccine is known to induce trained immunity in humans and mice. We aimed to study the same in the bovine species. Trained immunity is influenced by the epigenetic reprogramming of innate immune cells, keeping certain regions in the chromatin accessible and ready to release effectors. ATAC sequencing reveals those open regions of the chromatin. Therefore, in this study, we compare the chromatin states of the BCG immunized and control groups.
