Characterizing the bacteriophage associated with Honey and Bumble bees

This project had two main goals. The first goal was to characterize the bacteriophage (phage) communities associated with the european honey bee Apis mellifera and the common eastern bumble bee Bombus impatiens). The second goal was to compare how two different sequencing methods (viromes vs total metagenomes) influence recovered phage communities.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA1072153 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
