Purebred American Angus calves (n = 204) were vaccinated with a modified live vaccine (Bovi-Shield Gold 5; Zoetis Inc., Parsippany N.J.) containing antigens of 4 viruses associated with bovine respiratory disease as described (Kramer et al., 2017). A second booster vaccination was applied three weeks later. Bovine whole blood was collected and stored in Tempus TM blood RNA tubes (Applied Biosystems, Foster City, CA). Collections occurred at four-time points; three weeks prior to vaccination (Pre), at vaccination (Day 0), three weeks post-vaccination at booster vaccination (3 week), and 3 weeks after booster vaccination (6 week). The RNA was converted to cDNA using primers designed for capturing IgG and sequenced using Illumina MiSeq.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA607961 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
