Campylobacter coli RM4661 is a turkey-associated (MLST ST:1135) isolate sequenced as part of a study investigating the genomic basis for host-pathogen associations in C. coli. Originally isolated from turkey carcass by Irene Wesley at the NADC in Ames, IA.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA162957 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
