Buchnera aphidicola (Aphis craccivore) strain:Ash Genome sequencing

dataset
posted on 2024-09-29, 06:11 authored by University of Kentucky
The complete genome of the Buchnera endosymbiont of Aphis craccivora, strain Ash. This strain of aphid is also infected with a facultative symbiont that influences host plant use. The goal of sequencing the obligate Buchnera endosymbiont was to detect whether any of the standard Buchnera genes had become eroded in this strain of aphid.
