The complete genome of the Buchnera endosymbiont of Aphis craccivora, strain Ash. This strain of aphid is also infected with a facultative symbiont that influences host plant use. The goal of sequencing the obligate Buchnera endosymbiont was to detect whether any of the standard Buchnera genes had become eroded in this strain of aphid.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA565541 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
