Bipolaris gigantea isolate:BG_F Genome sequencing

Bipolaris gigantea is a novel pathogen of the invasive grass Microstegium vimineum that causes characteristic eyespot foliar lesions. This research goal was to generate a high quality draft genome of this emerging pathogens which would provide the genomic resource for future studies to understand the host range evolution, pathogenicity of this pathogen.
