Bipolaris gigantea is a novel pathogen of the invasive grass Microstegium vimineum that causes characteristic eyespot foliar lesions. This research goal was to generate a high quality draft genome of this emerging pathogens which would provide the genomic resource for future studies to understand the host range evolution, pathogenicity of this pathogen.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA1095424 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
