dataset
posted on 2024-11-23, 21:39 authored by USDA-ARS
A 16S rRNA gene sequence study was conducted to determine the diversity of bacteria associated with the corbicular pollen of honey bee foragers and the beebread in their hive. The main goals of this study were to determine bacterial diversity and to test the hypothesis that a core hive microbiota associated with nutrient preservation is found in hive food stores.
