Bacillus strains were isolated from California vineyard soil samples. They were selected for study based on screens for visualization of antifungal activity. All strains in this study produce extracellular metabolites that inhibit growth of Aspergillus species within sections Nigri and Circumdati, with an emphasis on ochratoxin-producing species.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA1165255 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
