Ascosphaera aggregata strain:USDA-ARS PIBMSR Wild2 Genome sequencing and assembly

This strain of A aggregata came from a single spore isolate of Megachile rotundata by Agricultural Research Service Pollinating Insect Biology Management and Systematics Unit (USDA-ARS PIMBSR, Logan, Utah). Strain was cultured in lab on V-8 media.These genome data are part of a comparative analysis of bee symbionts.
