In summer of 2010 a colony of Anasa tristis (txid: 236421) was founded with nymphs and adults collected from squash and zucchini plants in central Boone County, MO. Total RNA was extracted from all nymphal and adult stages for generation of a de novo transcriptome using the Illumina HiSeq2000 at the Bond Life Sciences Center DNA Core at the University of Missouri.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA62757 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
