AmeriFlux ecosystem observation datasets - Walnut Gulch Experimental Watershed - Kendall Grasslands

Energy and CO2 Fluxes have been monitored from 1997 to 2007 using Bowen Ratio technique, and since spring of 2004 with eddy covariance. This is located in a small intensively-studied, experimental watershed within USDA-ARS's Walnut Gulch Experimental Watershed.

AmeriFlux Community Goals Quantify the magnitude of the carbon sources and sinks for a range of terrestrial ecosystems in the Americas, and how they may be influenced by disturbance, management regimes, climate variability, nutrients, and atmospheric pollutants; Advance understanding of processes regulating carbon assimilation, respiration, and storage; Collect critical new information to help define the current global CO2 budget; Enable improved predictions of future concentrations of atmospheric CO2

Floating point representations using -9999.x with x equal to one or more 0 or 9 will be considered equivalent to -9999 (e.g. -9999.0 or -9999.999). Other values such as -6999 are not acceptable as indication of missing value (for any reason).
