Ag is STEM: Connecting agriculture to environmental and biological science curriculum

<p>Six professional development sessions were offered from 2021-2023 (three per academic year) to science teachers. The aims were to increase teacher knowledge regarding agricultural content, improve understanding of how agriculturally-relevant curriculum can be used to address learning standards, and quantify changes in knowledge and confidence in teachers to increase adoption of agriculturally-focused curriculum in STEM courses. This data set contains the survey responses obtained from consenting study participants, and is organized by session and year of offering. Sessions consisted of different topics, being one focused on Ecology, one focused on Nutrients and Fertilizers, and one focused on Genes and Genetics. Year 1 sessions were offered from 2021-2022 as a hybrid or virtual format, with sessions offered in 2022-2023 conducted as in-person workshops.</p>
