Using Illumina and PacBio technology we sequenced 11 genomes from the fungal orders Ophiostomatales and 1 Microascales to study aspects of fungal farming symbiosis. One of these genomes is that of the laurel wilt pathogen Raffaelea lauricola, responsible for massive death of Red Bay trees in the U.S. South East. We used the resulting data set to produce a well-resolved phylogeny for the Ophiostomatales and dated nodes to determine the age of cultivar lineages.
It is recommended to cite the accession numbers that are assigned to data submissions, e.g. the GenBank, WGS or SRA accession numbers. If individual BioProjects need to be referenced, state that "The data have been deposited with links to BioProject accession number PRJNA395605 in the NCBI BioProject database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bioproject/)."
